Scrabble for Cheaters 2017

March 04, 2017 at 826CHI in Chicago.

tracking.php?code=qka6lxcojziVT4Mx5NMaRK

Join 826CHI for our annual Scrabble for Cheaters event!

Scrabble for Cheaters is a Scrabble tournament with a dishonest twist for an honest cause. Here’s how it works:

Teams of two players each will pledge to raise funds to support 826CHI‘s creative writing programs. The money raised by each team can be used to purchase “cheats,” which can be used to obliterate your Scrabble opponents.

On Saturday, March 3rd, after weeks of peer-to-peer fundraising, teams will go head-to-head in a Scrabble tournament, using their hard-earned arsenal of cheats to win a series of 45-minute games. Champions take home a special prize, a gloriously gaudy trophy, and everlasting praise and admiration.

This year, we aim to raise over $20,000. Every donation helps ensure that each of our 2,500+ students can attend our literary arts programs 100% free-of-charge.

Can we count on your trickery?
