Please join Art Works Projects along with Restore Justice Illinois
and Prison and Neighborhood Arts Project for a special screening and discussion of the film In Lorton’s Darkroom, a presentation of the (In)Justice For All Film Festival. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker along with experts in the fields of criminal justice reform and prison arts education.

In Lorton’s Darkroom, produced and directed by Karen Ruckman, tells the story of a group of men incarcerated at DC’s infamous Lorton Correctional Facility during the 1980’s who transform their prison experience, and themselves, while participating in a photography program.
