May 20, 2017 at Kriser’s Natural Pet in Chicago.

Paws Crossed Rescue Resource is happy to be able share this exciting and educational event presented by Keller’s Cause!

Keller The Double Merle inspired the creation of Keller’s Cause, a 501(c)(3) non-profit aimed at spreading awareness about the reckless breeding practice that produces double merles. With our own dogs, we aim to show that disabled dogs can also make great family members.

May 20 will be the Second Annual National Double Merle Awareness Day. Our local event to support Keller’s Cause is to bring education about this reckless breeding practice and to show that every dog is an individual. Please don’t allow disabilities to cloud your view of what makes a loving pet. Please come out and meet our wonderful dogs! Keller and her “Ma” will be appearing at their local event on the East Coast and we will do our best to get the word out but we need your help!

Please join us on Keller’s journey, as we strive to change the world for double merles.
