Game Play:

Two (2v2) games will be played along side each other just as Five (2v2) games are played along side each other in the 10v10 BOMW Main Event.

You will rotate partners throughout prelims and the playoff bracket via assigned numbers just as you do in the 10v10 BOMW Main Event.

Win differential will be kept in place of cup differential just as the 10v10 BOMW Main Event is kept.

Captains will decide who will play one another prior to each round starting. In the circumstance of Captains disagreeing on match-ups occurs, a Do-or-Die shot will be taken at the last cup. Your organizer will select the shooting team. The Captain will select the shooter. Do-or-Die shots may NOT be taken twice by the same player until all players have shot. (Players must maintain the same multiples of match-up Do-or-Die shots.)

TIED SERIES – If a series is tied 1 win to 1 win after both games are completed, a 3-rack will be reset to ONE table.

Each team’s captain will choose a player from his own squad to play in the overtime match. Each team’s captain will also select a player from the opposing team to complete the overtime match partner pairings.

Players CANNOT select the same player from their OWN team to play in an overtime until each player on the team has played in an overtime match. (Players must maintain the same multiples of chosen overtime appearances.) (The oppositions player selection is always honored. Meaning, multiples of appearances can differ.)

Possession in the overtime will be decided by the combined cup differential between the two completed games.

If cup differential is tied, a Do-or-Die shot will be taken to determine possession. Your organizer will select the shooting team. The opposing team will select the shooter.

Whoever wins the overtime period will be given a +1 for their win differential.

*A “Do-or-Die” shot for the purpose of these rules is defined as a single shot taken. If it is made, the shooter retains deciding power. If the shot is missed, the opposing team captain has deciding power.

Prizes:

(6 full squads)
1st – (4) Best of the Midwest VIII Main Event entrys! ($400 value)
2nd – FREE entry into a future Best of the Midwest VIII qualifier for each player on the winning team!
